Biosketch

David Mompe

David has a qualification in Laboratory Animal Sciences; and completed his experimental learning at the University of Witwatersrand. He started at the then called, Biomedical Resource Centre, at the previous University of Durban-Westville during June 1991. David displays his expertise to the students in animal handling and procedures. Most students in the Biomedical Resource Unit would have dealt with David some time or another, either during training, assisting them with projects, demonstrating procedures or just in the corridor monitoring projects. He received his 25-year long-service award in 2016.
